The big decision
2010-03-31 00:00:00
Alright well a couple things really.
If you leveled 1-70 as feral then you probably have at least a halfway decent feral set of gear. If you want to go balance, then unless you have a completely separate set of gear waiting for you, I would pvp as feral until you can bank enough honor/marks to get the balance pvp gear. You can also pick up the balance honored gear from the rep vendors if you have the rep with each faction.
Then you can switch to your good ol' boomkin.
The biggest thing you really have to understand is that no one can tell you how to play. No boomkins don't get OMGWTFPWNED in battlegrounds by every single class. They are just like most classes, they have some they do well against and others that they don't.

Agility Dethroned - cat post
2010-03-29 00:00:00
Wow...1 crit per 78.62 agility? : ( I was under the impression that to date it has been 1 crit per 25 agility and was getting nerfed to 1 crit per 40 agility.
I didn't realize there was such a dramatic change in context of level 80 stats, but now looking at Wowwiki's Critical Strike page somebody's added a level 80 column to the crit/agility table which indicates that at level 80 you need 83 agility to get 1 of crit.
So our AP will go up relative to our crit which -- correct me if I'm wrong -- will give us higher steady DPS instead of the bursty of frequent but unpredictable crits, and help us a lot in Pv...
Plus to Armor Items Question

Denmark it is. I would think my very innovative username gave it away
I'm sorry if the spelling is a bit off. I usually type faster than my fingers can handle. I hope the message doesn't drown in the grammar mess.
P.S. A little punctuation goes a long way, so here's a few extra to put in where you see fit guess is mine: Denmark! ;-)In before the police. Don't bother fixing his English. He gets the point across. If you don't want to read it as it, go away.

HoT Counter?
2010-03-25 00:00:00
I use lifebloomer, but only for tracking HoT's on my tanks as it's a bit of a clunky frame.
It has colored bars to show remaining duration for Rejuv, Regrowth, WG and Lifebloom. It also has a Lifebloom counter, and the LB bar changes colors to identify when to recast without overlapping too early. This LB timer is also adjusted for your latency to maximize efficiency. There is also an opaque red bar that displays your GCD each time you cast which I find pretty handy.

From MM 2 BM
2010-03-23 00:00:00
This might sound like a question.
I have allways played with a MM spec. But I'm looking to try something new, (I'm lvl 62 atm) and thinking of respecing to BM! Could anyone provide some information about what talents to chose and how it's possible to survive without scattershot, aimed shot, multi shot, silencing shot etc. (man everytime i write down thoose shots I'm getting second thoughts about respecing).

Mage became a Hunter, lol ;)

As a BM spec you'll be able to buff your pets armor quite a bit, which will allow you to use a well rounded or high dps pet and still get decent tanking performance. Most BM's use cats or other high dps and do very well, with the benefit truly being pvp terrors against casters. I'm spec'd mm, but use all the armor points in BM. This gives my worg excellent survivability when combined with my added power from the mm tree.
If I were to spec full bm though, I would level an offensive pet and a well rounded pet(slavering worg...
Pet Attack Speed?
2010-03-20 00:00:00
Hi all, I'm still fairly new to this game and I had a question about hunters.
My hunter just hit lvl 10 and I currently have a Bear... and no this isn't going to be a "what's the best pet?" thread (cause from what I hear those are quite annoying on these boards)
But I've been trying to do a bit of research to find which pet would work for me. And I came across this thing called which from what I understand means that all the pets attack at the same rate.
But when I went to that Petopia site that I...

Question about food and loyalty
2010-03-17 00:00:00
At loyalty lvl one, you can go to the bathroom, come back, and find that your pet has abandoned you due to unhappiness (i.e. permanently gone). You can just get another, unless it was a
You feed it one item at a time (wait til feed pet effect is gone, chain feeding only wastes food - no extra effect). Little face = smiling green frog = happy pet, gaining loyalty. Yellow neutral face = okay pet, still gaining some loyalty (no fight bonus - w/ green face he has bonus in attack). Reddish frowning face = unhappy pet = losing loyalty = lower attack in fights.
At loyalty lvl 2, which just happens after a while (you see a flash of blueish light ...
